This is a demo for "Love", a syndicated progressive rock format designed by Allen Shaw for ABC's owned-and-operated FM stations, including WABC-FM/New York. The format featured personalities like Brother John Rydgren, Bob (Bob-A-Loo) Lewis, Jimmy Rabbitt, and Tony Pigg. This demo was produced in April, 1968, although Love did not hit the air until January, 1969. The demo was originally produced with all of the songs scoped. I've restored the full-length versions of every song.

This week we're listening to New York's finest: Dan Ingram on WABC. It's mid-April in 1968, a memorable era in music. As a result, no obscrurities to be found here as every song was a bona fide hit. Still, Dan is at his best and this is a great listen. I have restored all of the music to this originally-scoped aircheck, so you can listen in real-time as you would have back in '68.
