After successfully creating the West Coast's first commercial album rock radio station in San Francisco, Metromedia asked Tom Donahue to do the same in Los Angeles with KMET. Donahue partnered with longtime Top 40 jock B. Mitchel Reed to create "a little bit of heaven" at 94.7. It's June 1968 on Boss Radio 66.
