This week it's Los Angeles, circa 1968, and Dave Hull "The Hullaballooer" on KRLA. Dave was a master storyteller with a quick wit, and his show was a must listen for Southern California. One of L.A.'s most beloved personalities, Hull even had a flavor named for him at Baskin-Robbins.

Herman Griffith was a popular DJ on legendary Los Angeles R&B station KGFJ. But on this 1966 aircheck, he's spinning the hits for our troops in Vietnam via Armed Forces Radio & Television Service (AFRTS). Lots of classic Soul hits and misses on this one. Listen and enjoy.
