Before it was known as "New York's Oldies Station", WCBS-FM played a hybrid mix of Top 40 and progressive album rock, with great personalities and jingles. Steve O'Shea (who had a long career in San Francisco radio) held down the midday slot. Here he is on a Sunday afternoon, June 28, 1970. As a bonus, you'll also hear a bit of his midday show the following day. As the jingle says, if you've got any sense in your ears, you've got a lot to hear.
