Vocal Group 45 of the Week!

Hey there! Here is week one of volume II of my "vocal group 45 of the week!" series. Every week you can hear/download a cool 45 with the primitive Jungle Juice Beat!!!  Then 34 or so weeks from now you'll have a neato CD worth of songs to annoy your friends, family and pets!

If you miss any tracks, don't worry, when I'm finished I will post the whole thing for one handy dandy download!

This track is a nice bridge from the Instrumental series I just finished up. If you missed that, scroll down the page and check out Bali Ha'i Twistin' Train!

Joe Meek : an Ichiban Hero -- Whig Out special 2 June 2019

Why is Joe Meek an Ichiban hero ?
Joe Meek was an English recording engineer and record producer, mainly active in the early 60s. He was a one-man revolution, an outsider and innovator. He did everything his own way, refusing to be controlled by the powerful major labels, producing his own hits and leasing recordings to the majors on his own terms.

I will be sitting in for the Whig Out on Sunday 2 June 2019 with a one-hour special spotlighting Joe Meek. Check out the show live on the Ichiban stream (8pm EDT, 02h lundi heure de Paris, 月曜日の午前9時) including a live chat, or listen to the archive anytime. Keep it tuned to WFMU's Rock 'n' Soul Ichiban !!!
