She's All I Got (MP3)

Conway Twitty - She's All I Got

Here's Conway Twitty's 1972 version of She's All I Got, a huge hit a year earlier for Johnny Paycheck. Interestingly, Paycheck's version was a cover of pop singer Freddie North's original recording of the song, authored by Gary U.S. Bonds and Jerry Williams, known to you as Swamp Dogg.

Deke Dickerson & The Ecco-Fonics

Go behind the scenes with Deke, Sugarballs and Cialas, The Rockabilly Gorilla!

"Deke Dickerson and Chris "Sugarballs" Sprague prepare for their Fall 2011 Tour by recruiting a new bass player--a gorilla they found picking oranges for minimum wage. Through training and bribery, Grease Monkey The Rockabilly Gorilla becomes the new bass player for the band. This is the first installment in a tour diary documenting the exciting life on the road of rockabilly musician Deke Dickerson."

You can catch their act at the Rodeo Bar in NYC this Saturday night at 9:30.  Free!
