Christmas Beauty and Soul - A Lux Interior Christmas Tape
Well, it's been a few years since Kristian Hoffman blew everyone's collective minds with a massive tape that Lux Interior had given him that contained some mind blowing Christmas music from his collection. Well, yesterday, he posted ANOTHER scan of a tape that Lux gave him.
Just like last time, this is NOT a copy of the tape, but a collection of MP3's that I cobbled together so we can all enjoy it for the holiday. Whether you're a believer or not, there are some amazing "deep cuts" on this tape, and a few from the Black Christmas CD-r as well.
Note: it looks like Lux, or someone had crossed out the Carla Thomas track, so I tacked it on at the end. I have no way of knowing if it made it to the tape, or it was cut for space.

Big Planet Noise – IMPORTANT NEWS – PLEASE READ!!!
This Monday eve, we'll present our 4th Annual "Christmas Not Christmas" show – 8pm/7c on WFMU's Rock 'n' Soul Ichiban. It's our most favorite (and certainly our most adventurous) show of the entire year.
AND - BIG, BIG NEWS – beginning on Monday, January 6th, Big Planet Noise will be moving over to the mighty WFMU's Give The Drummer Radio stream!!! Our show will still be on every Monday eve, but we'll start one hour later, @ 9pm/8c. We'll stretch things out stylistically in our program, and we'll be bringing you even more three-hour shows!!! I'll post more about this as we get closer, but please do share, spread the word and be sure to join us on Drummer for our launch on the 6th!! Love to all!!!
